Our barn owner/manager has been a professional equestrian for over 25 years. She is very hands-on & oversees the care of every horse at the farm. She takes the care of your horse very seriously & treats the horse with specialized & attentive care.
The farm is situated on 30 acres in the heart of Ooltewah, TN. We like to keep the farm environment peaceful & relaxing so that you can enjoy time with your horse without a bunch of distractions. The horses also love the peaceful environment.
Our stalls are 12 x 12 & 12 x 14. The stalls are leveled & matted. Generous shavings are provided & stalls are cleaned 1-2 times daily 7 days per week.
We have 30 acres of well-maintained & lush pastures. Turnout is in groups separated by gender. We do also offer private turnout & turnout on a dry lot if needed. We have safe electric fencing. Your horse will have plenty of room to roam!
We have a 100x200' arena with footing and jumps, a smaller dressage/groundwork arena with lights & a round pen. We will be building some cross country jumps in the near future. We do not have trails on our property, but we are less than 15 minutes from Enterprise Horse Trails..
The care & attention to detail Amy has with her boarding & training horses is by far the best! My horse is the happiest & most relaxed that she has ever been! Her body condition is amazing. She is so healthy she seems to glow from the inside!

Amy's passion & care really shows through in everything that she does at the farm. Every horse is given individualized care & attention. She has amazing attention to detail. Every horse at the farm is healthy & happy. Amy frequently takes in rescue & rehab horses... the results are always mind-blowing!
I would recommend boarding your horse at STARS Sporthorses...hands down!
You won't find anyone in the Chattanooga with more experience, a cleaner barn & the work ethic that Amy has. You will never have to worry about your horse here.

I sent my 3 year old Percheron mare to Amy to board & train. Amy did a wonderful job of teaching Piper groundwork. She is an 18.3 hand horse, and draft horses can be known to be pushy on the ground. Piper is very respectful of personal space & very easy to handle.
Amy has very gentle training approaches. She also successfully started Piper under saddle without any sort of negative reactions. No bucking or bolting. Piper has learned how to think before reacting. She has learned confidence in herself & has built up so much strength & muscle!
